These are a few of the comments we have received on the site

Hi guys

Thanks ever so much for what you have done for the dance, really appreciate it.

I'm really happy you enjoyed the dance and if you do a review anywhere I will look forward to reading it.  I hope the dance does get itself out there as I think, although I would I know...LOL.... that it does fit the music and isn't as easy as it seems.

Thanks again for teaching and doing the video.

Regards

Thanks for the video - trying to teach myself before I teach my class.  Nice alive clear moves and easy to follow.

While on your site I looked at a video for another dance - More than a Memory.  Again excellent demo.

Now putting your site on my favourites.  Will be back.

Graham Skinner has done a superb job of demo-ing the dance on You Tube, so it will be well worth a look.

The correct step sheet and Video is available .....at:

and  www.copperknob.co.uk

Enjoy and give it a try. A lovely dance with style & passion.

Hi Graham!

Thanks for notifying Steve and Linedancermagazine!

As you mentioned, the original choreography was indeed with 2 restarts, but since there only were a few seconds left of the song, and even hard to notice in the music, I decided to skip the second restart.

I hope that was a smart move?!    Do you enjoy the dance?

Video is  fine, no mistakes there!

Thanks for teaching my dance, it’s really appreciated!

Thanks again…Cato Larsen   (19/02/2008)

Hiya Guys...

Hi

Good video on the waltz  "Door of Life"  and lovely music.  I really liked this and would love to teach it.

Plese can you suggest where I can get the music for the dance Doors of Life?

Often use your site to check on dances and to see whether or not I would like them and to listen to the music.

Hi Graham

I always look on your site to see if you have a video on utube, if so I don't need to look any further!!!

Your videos are the best, especially with tags and restarts clearly marked, excellent.

I go to intermediate classes three times a week, but seeing the dances is a bonus.

Keep up the great site, Joy.

Excellent site, very informative.
Like how you try to keep socials apart
(not many people do this.)

Hi Graham

Just had to drop you a line to say what a fabulous web site you have.  I live in Spain and my friend has just passed me you address on this evening where I have been sat for over an hour with the video teaches, brilliant.  We have a small group meets every Thursday morning and we dance non-stop for 2plus hours.  To mention a few of our present dances, Don´t push me,A Gigolo,Ain´t got no money,Doors of life.  Our problem is that there are not enough people interested in Line dancing for us to have a regular social so we soon loose the dances.

We do get events here one or twice a year e.g The Deans (they live just down the road) Pat Stott, Robbie McG, John Robinson, Dynamite Dot who our teacher Ken used to go to when she was teaching at Morley etc.  We always try to get door tickets as these are a real treat for us.

Keep on dancing and best wishes

Marie

You make the BEST dance-demos on you tube..with showing the re-start etc. ....and I always use them to learn a dance correct !

Hi there!

Well, what can I say ....... your videos are absolutely amazing, what a dancer!  I have just moved up from Improvers to Intermediates and I have to say I don't think I would be able to cope without studying your videos.  Gigolo, Love Today and now Guardian Angel.  I am sat here pausing every section until I have got it.

An absolutely massive thanks!!  I wish I lived nearer to you, I would defiinitely come along to your classes.  I am down in Kent but I was born in Hull!

Keep on doing your stuff - please ......

Thanks guys for the fab write-up on We Got All Night.  Pleased you taught it and glad they enjoyed it.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for teaching my dance I'm pleased it went down well, and thank for your comments on the dance they are very
much appreciated.  I've checked out your Video and I'm pleased to say it is correct (I know there was a fault on
early scripts so my apologises for that).  Thank you for including the tag & re-start in the video as that will be
most useful for viewers.  Thank you once again for all the work you have done.
Take Care & Have Fun

Dear Mr Graham & Mrs Kathy Skinner,
Your website is fabulously glamorous and usefully informative.
I am mesmerized by your dancing Spider Man and the nifty steps are stunningly fascinating.
Once again, thank you very much for doing a fabulous job on your website. It's simply smashing.
Warm regards,

Just wanted to say what a wonderful website you are providing and to thank you. Such a help when deciding what to teach, everything clear and concise and so helpful to be able to preview stuff before committing to it, saves no end of time. Always checking in to see what you are up to. One of my most important points of reference, along with Linedancer, Big Dave's and Speno. Thanks again, Lorna - and p0lease keep up the good work!   (14/08/07)

I would like to congratulate you on your web site, I have found everything I wanted.Very interesting site.

D Nicholls  (17/07/2007)

Excellent site and well defined.  Especially enjoyed the quick teach which made it a lot easier to learn the dance.  Any plans for more quick teaches at the end of the dances displayed?  Often come on to check on steps that I have not quite grasped when teaching myself and just to look at the dances.

Hi there!  Ouch!!  I hate it when people find new favorite dances because it means I have to stop everything I’m doing and check out the new one.....can’t help myself!   What a beautiful song!  I just listened to it and love it.  Now it’s happened......I’ve dropped the other dances and am checking this one out!  Thanks for the tip.  I found the sheet on Kickit and can’t wait to learn it.  Now instead of more choreography, can someone please invent 8 days a week or 500+ days a year so I can learn all these dances as my folders keep getting thicker and thicker.......what wonderful choices we have!

Hi Graham

Watch your site video every week - superb! - wonderful to be able to see and hear some of the latest dances out.  It gives me an "edge" when deciding what to teach my lot each week and it's also great to have confirmation that my interpretation of dance steps is the same as others (well, at least one other person's....!.) when I've taught a dance before you and then find this same dance on a video on your web site sometime later ............When you learn a dance at a workshop from the choreographer it's dead easy to re-teach it to your class - but when you have to rely on decoding a dance simply from a script I expect I'm not the only one to have my fingers crossed I've interpreted it correctly....done the turns the right way...got the timing right....done the "flick" as the choreographer intended.......I  very rarely get it wrong...but it has happened......(-:........dohhhh!
Thanx again for such a quick response.  Keep up the good work - I have given sooooo many other instructors and dancers your web site so they can see your videos....you are a household name now Graham LOL (-:

As an instructor videos that are well done & with steps that are easy to "see" and understand are soooooo beneficial.  Thank you for all the great videos.  I use them frequently & are very pleased with you execution of the steps.  I know they take time and effort.  Just wanted to say "thanks".  I've been the dance instruc. @ The Round Up in Tampa FL for almost 12 yrs now.  Will soon be moving to Tennessee!

Aloha, MR. Skinner,
It seems that I have known you for a long time since I frequently visit you website and youtube dance demos. Thank you for providing so much information and resources for the line dancing community world wide. I live in Honolulu Hawaii. We have several small groups of line dancers having limited exposure to the top choreographers. The only way we can expand our line dancing enjoyment is through webside research. On behaf of my line dance class with 30+ ladies, here is our warmest Aloha and Mahalo!

Hi Graham and Kathy,
Love your demo videos posted on YouTube.  I'm the webmaster for a line dance club based in the San Francisco Bay Area (www.bootsnbucklesdanceclub.com).  I've been posting links to your demos for dances that have become popular in the area, and many of our local dancers have expressed great appreciation for the demos of dances they are trying to learn.  Keep up the good work!

(17/06/2007)

Note from us - check out the web site in the link, there is a really cool write up about us ;-)

I am from Australia and a very keen linedancer.

I find that I am impatient to learn the dance so after class, I come to youtube and find the dance we are learning and with the video  help .I get the dance quicker and therefore find it easier. I wanted to write to you to say that I love the way you have tags and restarts named. As a dancer not an instructor that really helps.

Hi Graham

Just thought I'd drop you a quick line to say how much Alan and I enjoy your videos.  Whenever we want to see a particular dance, we always look on your site first to see if you've done one!  We also look to see if there are any new ones we haven't seen before.

Alan taught Celtic Reel this week, purely because I saw it on your site and had nearly learnt it just by watching your video - great job - don't stop!  Also, we'd have never worked out Everybody's Someone when it first came out without watching your video!

Great job!!!!  Maybe one day you'll do one of Alan's - would be fab if you did!!!!!  No pressure!  LOL!!!!!

Thanks again!

Thank you so much for posting your demos on your site and on YouTube.  Most every time I hear about a new dance, I know I'll find that you've demoed it and it helps so much to see the dances before I decide whether I want to learn them!

It's very easy to determine your steps because you make them so defined and that's a big help when I'm trying to learn a new dance.

Thanks again and keep doing what you're doing!  Hope to see you at an event sometime.

Hi Graham and Kathy,

Thanks for your feedback.  Just wanted you to know I was not blaming you in any way.  You do a fantastic job with your videos and in case anyone has not told you, .........................you  do a tremendous service for the dance community.  When I am perplexed with a dance your videos pull me through.      My point was that the choreographers need to consistently give us "All" the necessary information on their step sheets.   Perhaps if we dancers sent a message that failure to do so will not get their dances out there, they will in turn be more considerate and do their part.        Keep up the good work !!!!!!

Hi

Just wanted to say what a fantastic web site you have lovely to be able to watch video's to get timing right BRILLIANT

Hi
Just wanted to say how great and clear your videos are. Brilliant. One tiny quibble about the web site - you have spelt videos as "video's" rather a lot, but there should be no apostrophe! Apart from that, the site is great and very helpful. Thanks :-) :-)

Hi! - I am a line dancer from Oxfordshire, just wanted to say how much I enjoy your web site and find the video dances very helpful - keep up the good work.

I just wanted to share my appreciation for your videos of fresh new dances on your site.
There are a lot of videos out there without enough light (upon the feet while dancing). As well as, 1 wall videos (which doesn't even start at the beginning of the dance, the video just dropping in the middle of the dance somewhere).
Many Thanks for providing the videos!

Hi Graham

I just wanted to thank you for the fabulous videos you are making.  So clear.  So precise.  Excellent.

I have seen some of the ones on Linedancer's Watch & Learn and get so frustrated with bad lighting and/or filming the class where the dancer nearest the camera hasn't a clue, turns the wrong way and gets the steps muddled up.

Someone pointed me to your site recently when I was trying to master Strike 1 to teach to my class.  (Had to check with Barbara at Sapphire Ents 'cos your timing was slightly different from the scripts in the mags - but you were correct and I've held onto Barbara's reply in case of any queries from dancers who've read the mags).

Then I wanted to teach Pat Stott's "Grace Kelly" but was struggling with the intro.  You were coming in exactly the same place as me.  You also seem to have the same track that I do.  Now Pat's put a video on Linedancer's Watch & Learn - sounds a different piece of music but the start is the same (but I would query her wording on the script).  I did email her at the time but got no reply.

Thank you again.  You are brilliant.

Hi Graham,,

Brilliant!  Many thanks.  Do you think you could also send me  'I don't feel like dancing', pretty please.  Feel confident I can do the dances when watching the videos, without.... but getting there.

Thanks again.
Seshen                                        (5 Feb 2007)

Wow, I visited your video link today and what a great resource you have there.  I'm so far behind and almost every dance I wanted to catch up on is on your site.  Thanks to you, I'll probably dance a whole lot more at the Tampa event.  I'm putting a note in today about your site so you'll probably get quite a few hits today just in case you wondered why.  Thanks a bunch.  I asked Stacy to link some of the dances to the dances on the survey so people will be able to visit for the dances they want.  Carol

It's a hit & miss thing for me...
I'm ok with good, well presented, viewable videos of my dances being
done by others..
Graham & Kathy's are cool & they can carry on doing all mine :-)
But there are others of dubious quality that make dances look bad & can
be of no benefit at all cos they give
no idea at all what the dance actually looks like...

I'm also ok with my dances being performed by bikini clad babes (not
you Graham) with feather dusters..
So get your cameras out girls..

Nev

Hello Graham and Kathy,

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you so very much for all the effort you put into your website.  The videos are brilliant and so so useful for us, especially if we have difficulty fathoming out step sheets.   We (Soul Sisters, Catherine, Ursula and myself) came over to Bossy Boot's event just the week before last and so had Nev teaching his new dance.   As you say, yet another winner for him.

I hope that our paths may cross some day on the dance floor.   Maybe unknowingly they have already?  Anyway I'd very much like to meet both of you.   My next "outing" will be to Maggie G's in Southport in March

Warm regards,

Wendy

Hi,

Great to watch you dancing.  I am trying, and failing miserably to learn Everybody's Someone. Your video has been a great help.  But is there anyway I can download it so I can watch and learn without being online?

Thanks
Seshen

I think your site is brilliant.I have really enjoyed dancing these dancers.I havent danced in four years it has made me want to start dancing again
Thank you very much from vicky

Hi Graham/Kathy

Just wanted to say thanks for teaching my dance 'Heart Of An Angel' - I really appreciate it.
I also have to say thanks for making a video too - unfortunately I havent been able to do it myself due to various reasons (usually I forget lol) I have a link on my website to a video on you tube where the dance and music isnt in sync so I was wondering if you'd mind me using the video you have made????

Thanks again
Willie Brown

And I hope you keep doing it.  I hope you don't mind that I linked some of your dances to my site for the new video site.  I really appreciate that you do the videos and I hope you continue to do it.  It kind of amazes me that people hoard dances like they are gold when they are around about three weeks.  They should be thanking you!!  Carol

Hi, Graham.  Still enjoying your super job on the demos.  Love those long strides for clarity.    Pati Fall

Attended party saturday evening, had a really enjoyable time, first time at venue, good floor, wide range of dances, always look forward to pitting wits with quizzes.
Thanks for a fantastic evening.

I can confirm that Graham & Kathy did ask if we minded them using our video & we had no objection at all.
